ABOUT US
Fayette Church of God (FCOG) was introduced to Fayette, Alabama in the fall of 1944. Reverend C. T. Douglass, a Church of God minister, brought his tent to Fayette and began a revival. At the close of this revival, the Fayette Church of God was organized. Original services were held in the Fayette County Courthouse until a small lot was purchased on Temple Avenue. Since then, more land has been purchased along with the building of a church, ministry center, and parsonage.

We strive to welcome people with open hearts and open arms. This is to create a comfortable environment to worship God. Out with the old man and in with the new man.

Our community is small but mighty. We are a close knit family more than a community. We love our neighbors and our surrounding churches.
